Recount writing of Market day

On Friday morning my family and I went to the market at Tautoro School.  Firstly when we got there I went to get a drink and something to eat. Then I bought some slime and other stuff.

Next I went to get something for my mum. I bought my mum a drink.

Later on we sat to eat on the deck. I bought a hangi. It was yummy.

Then we bought a hotdog and candy floss for me.

After that we went home to have a sleep.

Finally we jumped in our beds and fell asleep.

I was very very tired.

So in room 3 We have been growing seeds for our market day to sell.

At the start I felt like our plant seeds was not going to grow but in the end on friday they had grown very big.

There are tomatoes corn pumpkin  beetroot  courgette sunflower silverbeet bok choy  pansy sweet pea

Butternut basil purple tansy and lots more.

It is very exciting because our class will be making heaps of money.

We should play sport every day

I think we should play every day to get fit and to get strong

Firstly I think We should play sport every day because we will get better at sport

Secondly I think  We should play sport every day to get better and better at passing the ball

Another reason why I think we should play sports to try new things

Lastly I think we should play sports to learn how to   kick and to learn new  tricks and  to learn good skills like to throw and  and to get lots of air and wind

So that why I  think We should play sport every day.

I think we should do homework every night.

Firstly I think  we should do homework to learn new words.

Secondly I think we should do homework to get smart and to learn.

Another reason why we should do homework is to give our brain a workout.      

Lastly I think we  should do homework because it helps us to achieve our learning goals when we are practising our learning.

So that's why I think we should do homework every night.

At the beach

On a lovely Monday morning I went to the beach with my mum and dad for a swim. We drove to the beach. When we arrived, I put my togs on then I jumped in the water

for a swim. I was playing with my dad in the water.

We were going to play with the rocks but we made sand balls and we were throwing the sand balls. When we went back in the water me and my mum went to the water with the sand balls. After that I went to have something to eat. Mum said, “Let's go to KFC for dinner.” So we went to KFc for dinner. It was yummy. After dinner we went home and I went to play my mum's ipod. Then Mum said, “Bedtime.” Than I went to bed.

I think kapa haka is important to learn

Firstly I think kapa haka is to sing in time                    secondly I  think Kapa haka is to learn songs

Another reason why I think kapa haka is about singing new songs  

Lastly I think kapa haka              

Is  to helps us to learn te reo maori

So that why i think that kapa haka is about to learn new songs new actions

Recount Writing-Going to Auckland

Going to Auckland

On Monday afternoon me and my mum went to Auckland to see my cousin.

First we went to Mcdonalds to get a drink and something to eat.

Next we went to buy some stuff for our mum.

Then we went to the hot pools. It was nice and hot.      

After that we went back to my cousin’s house and we  went to play on the trampoline.  

Finally we sat down and relaxed on the couch in the lounge.

We went back home. When me and my mum went home we stopped at pizza hut for dinner. It was yum and delicious.

Going to Kmart in Auckland

On Monday afternoon I went to Auckland to Kmart with me and my mum. When we went in I saw lots of toys to buy.

I went to get something to buy. I went to buy chocolate and some toys so I can sit and play with my toys.

I felt so good to be at Auckland for the day. My Mum paid for our stuff and then I said, “Mum I want some KFC for lunch.” She said, “Ok let's go to get some KFC.”

So we got to KFC and ordered our food.

I  said, “Mmmmmm  thanks Mum. Let's go home for a rest.”

So we went home. I said, “That was a cool day. I felt like I was in the air.

I went to the park.

On Sunday afternoon I went to the park in Opononi with my aunty to have fun and to play on the playground.

I felt happy to go to the park.

When we got to the park we saw lots of people. I said, “There are lots of people.”

The first thing I did at the park was to play in the sand. I felt happy and good.

Next I went to the slide. I said, “Sliding down the slide is fun.”

After that I went home. I felt it was the best day ever.

At my Aunty's house.

On Sunday morning I went to my Aunty's house for a visit.

First I played with my cousin. It was fun.

Next I went to the shop with my cousin and then to the park while my  mum and dad and  aunty were talking.

Then I went to Kmart to do some shopping and it was amazing.  I got a yummy pie.

Later on I went back to my Aunty’s house.  

Finally I went to have dinner at my aunty house and then I went home with my mum and dad and when we got home I went to my Game and it was amazing.

On Sunday

On Sunday afternoon I went with my Family to the Park for the day.

First I played TAG with my sister. It was fun.

Then we had some lunch. For lunch we had pizza. It was Yummy.

Next day we went to the Warehouse.  We had some lollipops. After that we went back to the car.

Later on we went to the pools for a swim. It was cool.

Finally we went home for a sleep.
